Who is responsible for your data
Brian Magliano-White is the data controller for Glyphway and is responsible for your personal data under this notice.
What we collect and why
- Account details (name, email address, login credentials) — to create and manage your account; legal basis: contract performance.
- Profile and display name — to attribute your shared mazes in the community; legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
- Usage and device data (pages visited, features used, IP address, device type) — to operate, secure and improve the service; legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to respond to your requests; legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
Sharing your data
We share personal data with:
- Our print partner (Zazzle) — when you choose print & ship, your maze artwork is handed to their site so you can order physical prints; your purchase, address and payment happen there under their privacy policy.
- Service providers — hosting and infrastructure, analytics and support tooling, each under appropriate agreements.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where needed.
- Authorities — where required by law.
International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country by the providers that host and run the service. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, and only transfer what is necessary to provide the service.
Keeping your data
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account and order data is kept for the life of your account and our legal/record-keeping obligations, then deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal data, including to access, correct, delete, restrict, port or object to its use, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any right, email hello@glyphway.app. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also complain to your local supervisory authority; we aim to respond to requests within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls limited to those who need it.
Cookies
Glyphway uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and the service working, and analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser.
